Center for Law Student Ethics and Professionalism Young Women Lawyers’ Mentoring Survey Project Description Recent media reports have raised serious issues about women lawyers’ career satisfaction and success in the legal profession. What may a potentially competitive or less-than-desirable attitude from other women may mean for new law grads and young lawyers who are looking for a connection to more experienced women lawyers in their workplaces? This survey will take a closer look at women lawyers' formal and informal in-house mentoring opportunities—specifically, how women associates are faring when it comes to mentoring programs.
Survey conducted by Professors Michael L. Coyne, Associate Dean and Ursula Furi-Perry, Director of Academic Support, both from the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover. Your responses are anonymous, but we welcome your additional insights if you are interested in providing them. Survey results will be included in a three-month study and resulting/corresponding publications.
