Smart Golf Ball

Hello,

We are a group of students in the final year at the university of Liege (Belgium) . Recently we are working on a project that consist of designing a "smart golf ball". The ball will contain a chipset that will communicate with a portable device(PDA, mobile phone, laptop, ...).

The project has 2 goals :

1) Easily locate the ball after a long shot.

2) Instant analysis of a shot according to the path followed by the ball. This service would help the player to improve his technique.
